Dinah Stabb has been a professional actress since 1970. She has been a member of the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company and has extensive theatre and TV credits.”
She is a Fellow of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama where she teaches and directs in both the Music and Drama department.
She is currently Artist in Residence at Guildhall where she is developing an understanding of performance skills for actors, singers and instrumentalists helping to give them strategies to enjoy and excel in performance.Her emphasis on ensemble work and professionalism has made her respected by students and colleagues alike. She has been working alongside Matthew Jones in the Chamber Music department to help young string players build skills to connect to each other and to engage with their audience both through their music and through their ability to speak directly to them.
She has worked with ProCorda, AYM, NordPlus and is currently working with the British Junior Eventing Team on performance.
She is a Creative Director of Innovative Conservatoire (ICON), an association of European Conservatoires who meet twice a year to research and promote the exchange of excellence in teaching in music institutions.”
She is Chair of the Advisory Board of ‘Ecole des Ecoles’ – the association of European Drama Schools – an association with a brief to develop creative teaching and curriculum development member in the member Drama Schools.
